On Location at Malibu Creek State Park

Enjoy autumn along 15 miles of streamside trails through oak and sycamore woodlands in Malibu Creek State Park and stop at the culvert crossing near the lower parking entrance to learn about the Malibu Creek Ecosystem Restoration Project! (MCERP) We’ll be on location to talk about the removal of Rindge Dam and eight upstream barriers. This area was the center of Chumash Native American life for centuries offering abundant wildlife and resources as well as spectacular scenery and vistas of the Las Virgenes Valley and Malibu Canyon. The goal of the MCERP is to return ecological resiliency to the area and keep it special for generations to come.
